Nutella Brownies using the Brownie Bliss Mix-up
I made Nutella Brownies using a recipe I found on Pinterest. It’s was easy to make and tasty. But for me, I needed a more chocolaty flavor. Give me the deeeep chocolate!
I had a ‘duh’ moment when I realized the answer was sitting on my kitchen counter: Brownie Bliss Mix-up.
So I experimented a bit. (I admit the first batch I tried to whip up didn’t even make it to the oven…and it really hurt to waste an entire half cup of Nutella deliciousness, but such are the perils of kitchen exploration.)
The second batch had a great fudge-like texture to the batter and looked heavenly just out of the oven and smelled even better. It was super hard waiting for them to cool enough to cut. I did snitch a tiny corner to make sure they were as good as my nose was imagining they were. Oh yes! Victory.
And what did I do? I tried them out on my company. Of course I did. Why would I do the rational thing and make the Nutella Bliss Brownies a couple of times and then serve them up to guests? But you already know this about me.
The guests loved them. They turned out to be a deeply fudge brownie with a smooth undertone of hazelnut found in the Nutella. The brownies were great that night and even better the next day. (Yes, I managed to hide two for lunchtime. Good luck with hiding them at your house…because these go fast.)
