Once upon a time I had a collection of antique cookie jars and an admirer said,
“Are they full of cookies?”
I wondered what it would take to fill all those whimsical jars. This is the moment that I began to think about the possibility of an ultimate dessert baking mix. It had to be thrifty. It had to be fun, easy and foolproof.
Through much trial and error and a lot of flour and sugar, Baking Outside the Box was born. My neighbors and friends patiently tested and reviewed my recipes and now I’m offering them to you.
